A löt of detail on the buildings here its quite distracting as you walk.

I am now in Leipzig which is a very attractive city with lots of lovely architecture.

St Nikolaikirche is a little strange, it looks like it was designed by a vegetarian.

They were having a market in the main square with pointy cabbage and other odd things.

Yesterday a trip to the Hannover War Cemetery.

Trying to find an internet place that you can upload pics from, difficult in Hannover which is not well equipped that way.

I GIVE UP HILDESHEIM! Yes, you guessed it part of the collection in Hildesheim was closed, just the New Kingdom, the bit I had come to see. Third time lucky I guess. On the up side its a pretty town, lots of internet cafes, the Mayan exhibition that replaced Egypt was magnificent and the Peruvian pottery was indescribably wonderful. Possibly didn`t help that the door to the loo broke and I was stuck and had to yell for help, not a situation one wants to be in when you don´t speak the language. However they broke down the door and all was well. Museum also had a good cafe where I soothed my shattered nerves with pasta in a nice cheesy spinach sauce. Ah well I have seen 2\3 of the collection, and some of that was quie lovely.
