Caen
Caen is patchily historic, the first pic below is my favourite from the Musee de Normandy it is a Roman era roof tile with a cats pawprint on it. Other shots include my lunch (the brown stuff is mushroom mousse) snap by a passing tourist of me, the cathedral being cleaned, Queen Matilda's tomb (William the Conq's wife) and other moments in the towns life.

Ginny, this is great. Love your trip so far though am sorry you did not try harder with the tripe sausage. Leonie
I know I failed but Kay says I didn't miss a thing. She has tried something v similar and says it was terrible.
