very excited about this, a city right on the edge, of the Euphrates,of the border and in the end of cultures that saw its destruction. It became the haunt of wild beasts and even now seems an isolated and semideserted sort of place. Its a huge site but the amazing finds of frescoes and military artifacts from the great seige are all elsewhere.
