Home Again, Home Again.

Thank god to be back in a country where they understand the little things that make life easy. Somewhere it is not a struggle to find appropriate shelter, nourishment and direction, a struggle that reminds you why our earliest ancestors came in from the cold and invented civilization. Home in fact. So for a while one can bask in 100% humidity and all the amenities of Australian life until it becomes just a little too easy, knowing where to acquire what you want, understanding directions from complete strangers, being able to read sreet signs, menus, bus timetables, Until the lure of places unknown and sites unseen, the sheer discomfit of being outside, sings its siren song and the chance to leave all the everyday, the normal, grownup and responsible world becomes a call too loud to ignore and too tempting to dismiss.
