There is a bitter wind blowing today which makes my cosy hotel room, one of these pictures, seem very attractive. I did a tour of the city and visited the war memorial, you can see the lumps of ice in the water of the pool. They use gaelic for all signs and displays but no one seems to actually speak it. A form of English seems to be the norm.
