Went to Ostia today, quite wet but that does tend to keep the crowds down. Didn't stop the dog walkers though. We wandered through the site from the gate down to where the beach had been. Took all day and there was much we didn't see but we had a great time. Only saw one cat, doubtless because it was wet, they were far too sensible to be out.
